The Allen-Bradley 2097-V32PR4 is a Kinetix Ethernet I/P Indexing Servo Drive. This drive is supplied with a nominal input voltage of 240VAC, 1-Phase drive. The module’s output capabilities include continuous output current and power output of 11.3 A and 1.7 kW respectively. This drive is also integrated with AC line filter and safe Torque-Off functionality.

Kinetix Ethernet I/P Indexing Servo Drive including the 2097-V32PR4 is a cost-effective single-axis motion control drive, used in low axis-count applications. This drive has a single Ethernet/IP communication port which can be used for an entire machine for the purpose of implementing Motion control, remote I/O architecture, and communication to Human Machine Interface (HMI). This effectively simplifies network wiring, which in turn reduces panel layout costs. It also provides a less complicated and user-friendly integration into the manufacturing and enterprise networks.

The 2097-V32PR4 embedded Safe Torque Off functionality increases machine safety features and simultaneously enhances machine productivity and reliability.

The 2097-V32PR4 electrical specifications include an AC input voltage range 80-264V rms, single-phase with nominal value of 240VAC along an input frequency of 48-62 Hz. The drive’s Control power back-up input voltage is 20-26V DC and nominal input current of 500 mA and maximum inrush current of 30 A. The drive’s peak output rms current is 11.3 Amperes and peak output (0-pk) current of 33.9 Amperes. This drive has a shunt On voltage of 390V DC, shunt Off voltage of 375V DC and overvoltage rating of 430VDC. This drive also has Short-circuit current rating of 100,000 A (rms) symmetrical.
